Client Successes - Case Study FourProject: Business revitalisation - spray technology Background issueThis UK division of a privately owned, market leading German spray technology business needed revitalisation after a long period of stagnation and the ill-health and subsequent premature retirement of the incumbent MD. Firth Interim Management inputThrough the position of managing director, the business was restructured along market sector lines and this resulted in improved customer focus and sales. Senior personnel were then recruited to overcome the long-standing succession problems. Several business information systems were introduced thus improving professionalism and proactivity of decisions. Overdue capital equipment investments were made resulting in dramatically improved service levels, productivity and quality.
